Cassel Mennonite Church and St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church are pleased to minister toether to our community. We are served by Cheryl Dawkins as our Parish Nurse.
Cheryl, husband Tim and children live in Ayr and are active members at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. A graduate of University of Windsor School of Nursing, she has been a registered nurse since 1988 with experience at Tavistock Nursing Homes and private duty nursing. Cheryl is currently employed at Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario, London. In addition to being well qualified professionally, Cheryl is a person of deep Christian faith.
The Health Ministry Team was unanimous in selecting Cheryl as she surpassed expectations in every way. She is a good listener, articulate, caring and compassionate. Cheryl is excited by the opportunities to serve in this ministry and is looking forward to getting better acquainted with our church families.
