Cassel Mennonite Church
A Place to Worship God and Serve Jesus Christ!

"Grace to you and peace..."

Cassel Mennonite Church is a warm, welcoming, and caring church located at the corner of the 17th Line and the Cassel Sideroad of East Zorra Township near Tavistock. Are you interested in being a part of a Christian community that advocates for farmers and rural dwellers? Here we are! Located in the farm country near the village of Tavistock in south-central Ontario, we worship, witness and serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our sole allegience is to Him.

Our denominational affiliation is with the Mennonite Church Eastern Canada and Mennonite Church Canada. We are Christians of the historic "Peace Church" tradition. Step inside and check out our site. Learn about our faith, ministries and activities. Welcome...and come again!

We're here! Come and share with us!! Do you value the company of others looking for the same things? Would you like to be part of a family that supports one another? Are you looking for a local congregation to become your church home? Why not drop in and visit? We'd be glad to see you. Come see what God is doing at Cassel Mennonite Church!

"We believe that the church is called to proclaim and to be a sign of the kingdom of God. Christ has commissioned the church to be his witnesses, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to observe all things he has commanded."

"TRUE EVANGELICAL FAITH CANNOT LIE DORMANT.
IT CLOTHES THE NAKED,
IT FEEDS THE HUNGRY,
IT COMFORTS THE SORROWFUL,
IT SHELTERS THE DESTITUTE,
IT SERVES THOSE WHO HARM IT,
IT BINDS UP THAT WHICH IS WOUNDED,
IT HAS BECOME ALL THINGS TO ALL PEOPLE."

Menno Simons, 1539

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Acts 2:21

Why not ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and your life...to reclaim you for God...to transform you into the person God your Creator intended you to be?

Ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior and guide! Your prayer should be your own, from your own heart. Try something like this:

"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I was made for You, but I've been living for me. I want to begin a personal and saving relationship with You now. I believe that You died in my place, to pay the penalty for my sin, and rose again for my salvation. I want to turn from my sins and my brokenness. I now invite You to come into my heart and my life as my Lord and Savior. Guide me, teach me and shape me according to your will. In Jesus' name, Amen."
